Peter John Voormeij

Peter John Voormeij (b. 1940, Amsterdam – d. 2024, Tsawwassen) was a Dutch-born painter known for his bold, expressive abstract works. Trained in classical realism, he later embraced abstraction, influenced by the Abstract Expressionist movements of Montreal and New York. His paintings are recognized for their vivid color, emotional depth, and dynamic composition.
